Sunday afternoon we went to our church to help with the Christmon tree.  Our class is responsible for putting it up, decorating and taking down.  This is our families first year to help and we all had a great time with all the families.  I didn't get as many photos and they were still working with the lights when we left.  Hopefully, I'll get a finished photo during the holidays!  We feel so blessed to be a part of our church here and have been truly welcomed with open arms.  Moments like these remind us that our time in Charlotte is part of God's plan and we are so thankful for the new friends we have in our lives during this season.  Happy Advent!

Today we attended our advent breakfast for church and this is one of the photos taken.  Go ahead and laugh-it is a bad picture of us all!  Lu wasn't really in the mood, Viley didn't want  to dress up and wanted take baby Jesus with us, Jason fell asleep and I just am laughing!  I love days and moments like this!

Jason and I had some adult fun with the Cook's this past Sunday.  We went to the Panthers/Falcons game.  This was my first NFL experience!  It was fun and I am amazed we tailgated, went to game and got home in 6 hours total!

Okay so I think I am caught up now!  Oct was a busy month for us!

Lu's birthday!!

I can not believe my Lu is 4!  It really sounds so old to me.  Amazing how fast the time flies!!  We had a great week celebrating her big day.  And she was so excited about having a birthday party with her friends.  She really had a great idea with a bug theme and it was so fun to put together.  I love that she is original!  She is a miracle and a precious little girl!  Can't image our lives without her.  Each day I look forward to learning or hearing something new from her.  This past year has been filled with a lot of changes and I really am so proud of the the little lady she is becoming!  I pray that she continues to share her loving and caring heart!

The party~ We had a blast with bugs!  They kids were so cute!  Lu was so excited to have her friends to celebrate with her.  Jason's parents also came up to see her as well as Ms Dell our neighbor(my girls love her!)
